All Spondon residents should have received, or will shortly receive a letter from the local Councillors regarding the proposed incinerator.
There is an error in the letter in that it says that you have to object to the proposal by the end of November, i.e. you are out of time.
This is not the case and you can still object as the proposal is not due to go to the planning committee until Jan 14th at the earliest.
The info in the letter was correct at the time it was printed but has since become out of date and therefore incorrect.
Please get your objections to the council as soon as possible if you want to prevent this incinerator being built in Spondon.
Also note, under government legislation, Gasification is simply a form of incineration - not something entirely different.
