Can anyone help with details of Courthaulds long service gold watches. Unfortunately the watch awarded to my late father-in law , Stanley Church of Dale Road, was stolen from a drawer in a recent burglary. To aid the police in recovery I have no record of make etc.. If anyone could help we would be grateful.
Thanks for suggestions so far, photos could be very useful.

You could try the personnel department at the Spondon factory, My Father worked in the instrument department at Grimsby Spondon & Greenfield, going for his 30 year award to Keswick in 1978. I can remember it well; they had a catalog to pick which award they wanted. He picked a carriage clock. If you can remember the year your Farther went for his long service award, and your Fathers clock number; if not his National Insurance number. I am sure that the staff in Celanese personnel department would gladly help you. If they do not have hard copy's of these catalogs they will have some sort of record on their computers. Good luck.

I have recently passed on my dad's watch to my son. He will take photographs and they may help.

I see in the Telegraph that Celonease is closing down it has been a part of Spondons History for as long as i can remember as it for gave my relations an oppertuneity to have a paid employment work when the Jarrow March came to Derby. It Will be sorley missed by all and no doubt it also brought us Spondon Railway Station to ease the workers access to Cel.
